According to the Daily Telegraph today, Energy advisers to the Prime Minister have claimed that households could save up to £1,200 each if Britain builds more wind farms and nuclear power stations. The Committee on Climate Change acknowledged that paying for “green” energy may be costly in the short term but it would actually save the country up to £100bn in the long run.
