Resurfacing of some footways on Barry Avenue jas been promised by Highways in the new financial year (after April, 2013) as follows:

• Between 46 and 48 the surface is in very poor condition and will be finished  high to efectively provide a dropped kerb 
• Between 24 and 26 – This is a similar to the situation between 46 and 48 and will be resurfaced
• Barry Avenue junction with Brighton Crescent by Barmouth Court: a new mobility crossing to be provided here
