I drove over the new Darkinson Lane/Sidgreaves Lane railway bridge last night.  They’ve made a good job of it although some finishing work around it still needs to be done. It is a bit of surprise to drive over it the first time as it is  higher than the old bridge to allow the electrification of the line to Blackpool. So job done and we await work to starting on the Lea Lane Bridge and renovation on the parapet of the nearby canal bridge.
