We recently learned that Signposts, the Morecambe-based charitable company that runs Tanterton Community Centre, is going out of business. Cllr Bill Winlow says “We cannot allow this community asset to close. I pledge to work closely with Preston City Council and the Ingol and Tanterton Neighbourhood Council to find a way forward so that the Centre remains open for the immediate future. For the longer term, we need to come up with a community based solution that provides a sustainable future for the Centre, and I will work with fellow councillors and Tanterton residents to help deliver that future”.
